WHO WE ARE

Habitat for Humanity UW–Madison Chapter is a student-led organization committed to addressing housing insecurity and building a stronger, more equitable community in Dane County and beyond. As part of the international Habitat for Humanity network, we work alongside our local affiliate—Habitat for Humanity of Dane County—to provide safe, decent, and affordable housing for families in need.

Our chapter operates through four core pillars: Building, Educating, Fundraising, and Advocacy. We host regular local builds, organize service trips during academic breaks, raise funds to support construction efforts (including one home built annually in Madison), and engage the campus community in conversations around affordable housing and social justice.

Open to all students, we strive to unite people from all backgrounds in meaningful service, partnership, and community-building to create real change, one home at a time. Join current university students in our ongoing events and help fight housing insecurity in Dane County!

MEETINGS

We host meetings every other Tuesday at 7:00pm at Mosse Humanities room 1101 during the Fall 2025 semester. Please reach out to us if you need any accessibility accommodations!

Throughout the year we will have free pizza, activities, socials, and more information about what we do and how to get involved! The more individuals that join our mission, the faster and easier it will be to accomplish our fundraising goals and help a family in need.

If you are interested in helping out in the future, feel free to send us any questions regarding the event by messaging us directly on our Facebook page.
